These kitchen towels are handprinted with silkscreen in the center of Athens. Featuring our Blue White fisherman and Kyra Maria. They are made out of sustainable cotton & linen fabric made in Greece.
Kyra Maria and Mr. Labas are not a couple; in fact they’ve never met in real life, since she has lived on the island of Kythira her whole life and he has never left the area of Cape Sounion. It seems as if the sea travelling back and forth between the Ionian and the Aegean shore is the one thing that connects them. And yet, funny enough, they’ve sort of led parallel lives. They were both born and raised by the sea and started working at a very young age; she runs a small farm, raising and milking goats, while he is a fisherman, who also makes a living out of renting pedal boats on the beach that is sitting right below the temple of Poseidon.
